Job Summary
RN Staff Development Coordinator plans, organizes, develops, and directs in-service education for nursing and other associates in a post-acute care facility, ensuring compliance with laws, Life Care standards, and company policies. Essential duties include planning and coordinating staff training and orientation, maintaining training records, delivering excellent patient and team service, collaborative interdisciplinary work, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires active RN license, nursing education background, and ability to train and evaluate staff; CPR certification preferred/current. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Currently licensed/registered RN in applicable State
- Active RN license in good standing
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
- Teaching/education experience preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
