Job Summary
Collaborate with product designers to brainstorm and iterate on feature enhancements, then bring Figma designs to life by implementing modular, reusable React components. Implement interactions using highly flexible and performant CSS code, experimenting with animations and micro-interactions best prototyped through code. Work closely with the front-end engineering team to bridge front-end logic with design, ensuring high-quality implementation from wireframe to pixel perfection across desktop and mobile applications. This role sits at the intersection of design and engineering within Vetcove's Design Team, supporting the modernization of veterinary software used by over 25,000 hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- You have an extraordinary attention to detail.
- You love React, and love building new React components.
- You have several years experience working with React and using the latest React features.
- You are a CSS guru.
- You truly love design and are passionate about exploring the latest design and interaction trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, including experience in building a professionally successful production application using React.
- A set of front end components and or designs you've implemented that you can share!
Desired Qualifications
- A passion for pets is always a big plus, but certainly not required!
