Staff Design Engineer, Stormwater

Job Summary
Present project-specific solutions to civil engineering clients by providing quality design calculations, basic layouts, drawings, and expert advice to integrate Contech's Stormwater products into site plans. Address client inquiries, offer guidance on local stormwater regulations, and assist with plan reviews and interpretations. Manage and track design-phase projects to ensure current data communication, while collaborating with specifying engineers to develop secure product specifications. Communicate effectively with field and internal teams to meet stormwater quality, quantity, low-impact development, and runoff reduction objectives. Coordinate with Regulatory Services to identify opportunities in new markets and enhance regional specification for water quality. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 2+ years of civil site stormwater design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office products
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in civil site projects with an emphasis on stormwater or drainage design preferred
- AutoCAD proficiency is a plus
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) depending upon experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil site projects with an emphasis on stormwater or drainage design
