Job Summary
Staff Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for the design and hardware for NPI of military products and systems. Owns technical execution from concept through drawing release and verification, partnering with Systems, Aero, Structures, TSD, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Suppliers. Provides leadership and guidance for hardware owners and integrates with program teams. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of design experience; role involves working with cross-functional teams, applying GD&T and producibility best practices, and ensuring compliance with export-control requirements. Relocation is provided and U.S. work authorization is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in design engineering
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (U.S. Person)
- Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information
