Job Summary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous business requirements into practical supply chain solutions. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to inform model development, establishing metrics for evaluating solution effectiveness. Deliver data-driven solutions leveraging advanced statistics, machine learning, and operations research to optimize business processes and automate decision-making at scale. Analyze complex data problems using deep learning and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear reports and presentations. Provide analysis for launched solutions to quantify outcomes based on real-world results, identifying areas for improvement and future development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in mathematics/statistics, computer science/engineering, industrial engineering, operations research, or any other quantitative disciplines
- 5+ years of relevant experience working in industry or academia
- Hands-on experience in statistics/ML fundamentals
- Demonstrated experience in Python
- Demonstrated experience in SQL
- Demonstrated experience in basic visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems
- Solid knowledge of data science and machine learning fundamentals
- Proven experience to formulate business problems to data science solutions
- Ability to conduct analysis independently for a business problem
- Experience in data manipulation
- Experience in hypothesis formulation
- Experience in experiment design
- Experience in statistical analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively engage with technical and business stakeholders at all levels

- Familiarity with Big Data ecosystem (Spark, Hive, HBase)
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB) for handling complex data transformations and analysis
- Deep understanding of the e-commerce business domain
- Ability to apply cutting-edge models into production environments
