Job Summary
As a Data Scientist on the Data Team, you will shape key data science areas such as segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, and insights. Responsibilities include collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success to understand product usage trends and making data-driven decisions. You will also mentor junior data scientists, manage stakeholder requirements, and build internal data products. This role requires extensive experience in data science and machine learning, strong coding skills in Python or Scala, and a Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of data science, machine learning, advanced analytics experience.
- Extensive experience in applying Data Science/ML for data-driven product development.
- Familiarity with product data science and customer/user behavior analysis.
- Strong coding skills in general purpose languages like Scala or Python.
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization using tools like R and Python.
- Experience with distributed data processing systems like Spark and proficiency in SQL.
