Job Summary
Staff Data Scientist to design experiments, build predictive models, and deliver insights that directly improve student acquisition, engagement, and retention. Develop a comprehensive measurement framework for student-facing teams; identify opportunities to improve student outcomes using causal inference and experimentation; collaborate with Product and Operations to integrate behavioral signals and predictive modeling into team workflows; partner with Product, Operations, and Engineering to optimize the student impact staff journey from hiring to software tooling and automation. Hybrid work schedule is available with NY-based office days and remote days. Bonus points for experience in operations research, workforce analytics, and ML deployment/observability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Experience in data science, analytics, or related field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
