Job Summary
Join ARKA Group as a Staff Data Engineer/Scientist, focusing on the development of AI/ML algorithms in areas like large language models and natural language processing. Responsibilities include leading an interdisciplinary team, implementing ETL pipelines, building data infrastructure, and optimizing processes for AI/ML applications. Required qualifications include a B.S. in a relevant field, 6 years of experience in data engineering, and an active TS/SCI clearance with a recent Full-Scope Polygraph. Preferred qualifications include an M.S. or PhD in the relevant fields, and experience with cloud services and advanced machine learning techniques.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in data science, AI/ML, computer science, or related field
- Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer/Scientist
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with a recent Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP)
- Experience developing data pipelines with Python packages like NumPy and Pandas
- Experience in version control using git and its alternatives
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Gitlab, DevSecOps utilizing test-driven development, containers
- Experience leading an interdisciplinary team
- Experience with Large Language Models and their incorporation into new domains
- Experience with Natural Language Processing algorithms such as BERT
- Experience with Machine Learning libraries and frameworks such as HuggingFace and LangChain
- Experience with AWS cloud computing resources
