Job Summary
Develop business operations decision-making systems and analyze domain data to provide actionable insights and develop key metrics. Explain reports, algorithm details, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders while prioritizing metric development requests. Keep developed reports and systems up-to-date by learning and deploying new technologies in methodology and software. Train and mentor junior data analysts to support key business initiatives across Pricing, Retail Commerce, 3P Commerce, and Promotions. Join a team dedicated to building reports and system support algorithms serving product owners, engineers, and business analysts within Coupang's data-driven culture.
Required Qualifications
- MS in math, statistics, other technical or business fields (BS with longer experience)
- 6+ job years' experience in data science, business analytics and other quantitative fields with MS
- 9+ years' experience with BS
- Excellent skills in SQL
- Proficient in English
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Good understanding of statistical analysis and algorithm design
- Experience to initiate and drive analytics projects and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to business
- Experience with creating Tableau, Grafana, or similar GUI based reports
- Experience with data analytics tools such as relevant Python libraries, Spark, R as well as engineering tools such as GitHub and Airflow
