Job Summary
Provide attorney-level IP and advertising legal support across Tyson Foods’ brands, focusing on trademark prosecution, patent matters, advertising compliance reviews, and IP agreements. Responsibilities include USPTO office-action responses, advertising claims review for regulatory compliance, drafting and negotiating IP/advertising agreements, training business teams on trademark use and advertising requirements, and supporting patent prosecution with coordination of outside counsel. Requires a law degree, bar license in at least one jurisdiction, and 2+ years of relevant experience; relocation is eligible; some travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
- Two or more years of legal experience or equivalent
- Experience with trademark prosecution, advertising and marketing review, or IP support
- Travel may be required
