Job Summary
This role leads operational excellence initiatives within Crayola, applying Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve service levels using the Crayola Operating System. Responsibilities include coaching CI pillar leads, managing 20+ improvement projects with benefits tracking (target $2,000,000), leading cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops and value stream mapping, identifying AI use-cases, piloting and rolling out AI-enabled tools, and developing development paths for manufacturing personnel. Requires 5+ years CI experience; Black Belt and BS preferred; strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to travel 10-15%.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Continuous Improvement experience
- Black Belt Certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven leadership in a cross-functional team environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to travel domestic/internationally 10-15%
- Experience supporting technology adoption, automation, analytics, or AI-related initiatives in a business environment
- Proficiency with Minitab, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
