Staff Chemical Engineer

Staff Chemical Engineer to join Form Energy’s Product Echem Performance team. You will build on existing results to improve electrolyte product integration and optimize the electrolyte workflow for our long-duration energy storage system. This role involves hands-on lab work, designing and running experiments with custom test fixtures, collaborating with chemical, materials, and mechanical engineers, and analyzing data to refine electrolyte product integration and maintenance. You will help establish a robust qualification process for electrolyte specs in partnership with vendors, characterize cells and components, and define decommission and passivation processes across scales. Relocation is available and the role emphasizes a safety-first mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and advancing electro-chemistry techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, UV-Vis, and titrations.
