Job Summary
Staff Business Systems Analyst focused on optimizing and supporting Finance and Accounting systems, with primary emphasis on NetSuite ERP. Serve as liaison between Finance/Accounting/Revenue/Procurement and technical teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and compliant financial systems across QTC, P2P, and R2R. Lead system ownership strategy, elicit and document requirements, drive automation for reconciliations and close processes, configure NetSuite modules (OM, Billing, Revenue, GL, AR, AP, Inventory, COGS), support testing (SIT/UAT), manage data integrity and integrations, mentor junior analysts, and ensure SOX compliance and governance. Remote US role with preference for Pacific or Central time zones. Candidate should bring 10+ years of Finance Systems/NetSuite experience, strong problem solving, stakeholder management, Agile delivery skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Finance Business Systems Analyst or NetSuite ERP product ownership roles
- Deep hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and modules including OM, Billing, Revenue, GL, AR, AP, Inventory and COGS
- Experience with configuring fields, Saved Searches, reports; ability to work with developers on complex solutions
- Ability to evaluate technical feasibility of configurations; strong collaboration with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience delivering large-scale financial system implementations, integrations, or automation initiatives
- Strong understanding of ASC 606, revenue contract arrangements, performance obligations, and automation workflows
- Familiarity with QTC (Salesforce CPQ, Zuora, Hubspot, Dealhub), P2P (ZIP), and T&E (Airbase, Travel Perk) lifecycles a plus
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field preferred
- Preferred: experience with NetSuite ARM, Multi-Book, OneWorld; integration platforms (Workato, Boomi, SnapLogic, MuleSoft); SuiteScript/ SuiteFlow/ SuiteBuilder/ SuiteTalk APIs; AI/automation in finance; EPM/FP&A tools (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights)
