Job Summary
As a Staff Backend Engineer at Voodoo, you will be integral to the backend platform, supporting scalable mobile games played by millions. Your responsibilities include infrastructure, API design, coding, and client-side integration primarily using Golang. You will collaborate closely with client-developers and game designers throughout the feature design to delivery process. Candidates must have a strong background in backend development, exceptional SQL and NoSQL skills, and experience in high-scale systems. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of backend development experience
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
- Extreme fluency in Golang
- Mastery of SQL and NoSQL
- Background in high-scale systems
- Understanding of Unix-like environments
- Experience working in cross-functional agile teams
