Job Summary
The Staff Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing the core EAV data model and schema-as-code platform, building a Git-style version-control and migration engine, and engineering AI-assisted tooling. Key responsibilities include scaling a white-labeled data warehouse for analytics, creating declarative APIs and SDKs, delivering end-to-end observability across various data types, and mentoring within the engineering culture. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in large-scale ETL processes, cloud services deployment, and complex graph-based architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise building large scale ETL on databases like Postgres, Elasticsearch, DuckDB, Memgraph
- Using cloud services to build + deploy reliable web applications
- Working in abstractions to build complex graph-based architectures that scale
