Job Summary
Remote Staff Auditor role supporting our Internal Audit team. You will execute remote audits (walkthroughs, control testing, substantive analytics), support inventory counts for external auditors, collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance, develop and implement audit plans, monitor progress, and participate in special projects. Ideal candidates have substantial audit experience (preferably from a Big 4 firm or public company) and a strong foundation in US GAAP and PCAOB requirements, with a CPA/CMA/CIA being preferred. The role emphasizes problem-solving, communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with up to 30% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of audit experience with a Big 4 firm or a public company (manufacturing industry experience)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and PCAOB requirements
- Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and auditing standards
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA are preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Travel approximately 30%
