Staff Auditor

Staff Auditor with a focus on music royalties to assist the audit lead in royalty-compliance procedures for record labels and publishers. Responsibilities include auditing and documenting royalties, analyzing expenses, assessing contracts for potential claims, preparing reports of findings, summarizing royalty statements, and conducting fieldwork. Proficient in Excel and/or Access/SQL for data analysis; able to prepare databases, perform tests of books and records, maintain documentation, analyze large datasets, and identify underreported royalties or excess expenses. Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration with managers/auditees, and the ability to work with a diverse client base of artists and songwriters.
