Job Summary
Perform routine audiological tests to diagnose vestibular and hearing disorders, manage referrals, and deliver aural rehabilitation including assistive device services. Recruit for clinical research studies and collect data as assigned, while participating in special projects, multi-disciplinary teams, and educational programs. Provide patient care and education tailored to the served population. Full-time 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday schedule at Boys Town National Research Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an ETB accredited college or university
- Minimum of one year of practical experience in the area of audiology
- Knowledge and understanding of hearing disorders for patients of all ages
- Eligible for appropriate state licensing, within (3) three months of transfer or hire
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be Board Certified in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) within (1) one year
- CITI training & certification
- CPR (BLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- interest or experience in vestibular, auditory brainstem response, and/or tinnitus assessment
