Job Summary
Provide legal services for paternity, child support, and medical support establishment and enforcement. Negotiate with opposing counsel, attend hearings, draft and review legal documents, and vigorously advocate state interests. Ensure orders contain required federal and state elements while updating automated systems to monitor cases. Advise Specialists on court filing documents and maintain positive working relationships with the State. Attend weekly project team meetings and apply knowledge of federal and state child support policies. Requires a Juris Doctor degree, license to practice law, and experience in domestic relations or prosecution.
