Job Summary
Support corporate governance activities by preparing records, board materials, and organizational documents. Draft and advise on general corporate matters, employment law issues, and a variety of contracts including commercial agreements and service contracts. Conduct legal research, perform document reviews, and lead internal investigations or due diligence projects as assigned. Provide day-to-day legal support on operational, contractual, and compliance matters while assisting with policy development and implementation. Lead negotiations with external parties to protect legal interests. Assist with intellectual property, cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI governance issues. Comply with Certified Fleet Operator requirements, including holding a valid Texas driver's license. Work occasional long, irregular hours with occasional business travel in an office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Coursework or experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate law, commercial transactions, employment law, regulatory compliance, or finance
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and sound judgment
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative legal team
- Valid Texas driver's license and driving record at the time of hire which would not place the employee on probation or disqualify the employee from Certified Fleet Operator Status under the company Driving and Safety Policy
