Job Summary
Staff Attorney provides general legal support, direction and advice to UC Health entities under supervision of a senior attorney in the Office of General Counsel. Responsibilities include legal research and writing for senior attorneys; drafting and reviewing non-physician, transactional contracts including clinical education agreements; drafting and reviewing commercial/non-physician real property arrangements; drafting and reviewing patient transfer agreements; routine management of subpoenas; advising on internal policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations including HIPAA and privacy; and supporting UC Health strategic initiatives. Coordinates activities with other attorneys in the Office of General Counsel.
