Required Qualifications

  • J.D. degree from a major accredited law school
  • Active California bar admission in good standing
  • Flexibility to work long hours and travel on short notice
  • Minimum of 5 years of complex litigation experience in a law firm or equivalent emphasizing discovery project management
  • Experience in discovery project design, implementation, supervision, budgeting and quality control
  • Substantial experience in all aspects of litigation project management including litigation holds, early fact development, case assessment, collection, processing, culling strategies, document review, production and privilege logging
  • Ability to articulate case/project goals, objectives, deliverables, costs and deadlines; identify tasks, resources and schedule needs
  • Fluency in the technical language of desktop and enterprise information systems
  • Strong organizational, reasoning and research skills; creativity; strong written and verbal communication abilities; good judgment; attention to detail; initiative
  • Flexibility, composure and the ability to prioritize and handle many urgent tasks simultaneously with high competence and accuracy; ability to remain composed under pressure; sensitivity to ethical and confidentiality requirements; strong customer service skills
  • Teamwork, team-building and leadership experience
  • Ability to work with little supervision, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment
