Job Summary
Conduct client calls to answer legal questions, explain immigration processes, and provide case status updates within established guidelines. Review draft immigration applications, track necessary edits, and clearly communicate changes to Senior Attorneys before submission. Perform daily legal research on immigration law topics and meet daily goals for case reviews and client interactions. This role requires a J.D. degree and active state bar membership, with fluency in English and Spanish preferred. Based in the United States, the position offers opportunities for career growth and additional responsibilities with strong performance.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
- Active member in good standing of a state bar
- Ability to follow detailed directions
- Computer skills (Typing - MS Word and MS Excel, Document Management-DropBox, Email - MS Outlook)
- Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in immigration law
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Experience using a case management software system
- Immigration law experience
- Support mission of helping people currently living in America obtain their documents and stay together with their family
