Job Summary
Gather evidence, conduct civil lawsuits, draft legal documents, and advise clients on their rights. Interview witnesses and handle case preparation details while representing clients in court, quasi-judicial bodies, and administrative agencies. Interpret laws and regulations for the client community and lead outreach, community education, and evening legal clinics. Supervise subordinate legal, clerical, volunteer, or student workers as needed. Manage a case load involving major litigation and make quick decisions under pressure. Bilingual (Spanish & English) skills preferred. Reliable transportation across all Texas counties served by the Bryan Branch Office required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Law School
- Licensed to practice in Texas or qualify for reciprocity
- Reliable transportation to travel throughout all Texas counties served by this office

- Prior legal services or public interest experience
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) speaking/writing skills
