Job Summary
Manage spiritual development, leadership training, and resource fundraising while leading direct ministry teams in contact work, clubs, and camping strategies. Execute yearly strategic ministry plans, maintain accurate donor and participant records, and adhere to all organizational policies and training requirements. Handle physical work conditions including camping assignments, hiking, and outdoor activities across the Wenatchee Valley. This role supports five local ministries with a focus on strengthening existing outreach and advancing toward Area Director leadership.
Required Qualifications
- profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
- subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff, including the Young Life Statement of Faith
- be ready, willing and able to fulfill such ministry functions as may be required by the organization
- refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life
- abide by all policies and practices of Young Life including, without limitation, those related to religious belief or ministry activities
- Experience in direct ministry
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Staff person must be able to handle these conditions
- Serve on a summer assignment at a Young Life camp each year
- Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures
