Job Summary
Staff Architect role providing end-to-end technical leadership across Jumper AI / Conversational Commerce platform. Responsibilities span backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and platform design; lead architectural design for workflow orchestration engines, Journey Builders, commerce and messaging platforms; establish scalable architectural principles and standards; drive distributed, event-driven backend systems with reliability guarantees; guide frontend architecture for high-scale products; drive cloud-native design on Google Cloud Platform; mentor senior engineers and influence cross-team technical decisions; emphasizes AI-assisted engineering to enhance design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, production-grade software systems
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven platforms
- Strong hands-on backend system design experience using Golang
- Proven experience designing workflow engines, routing systems, or stateful execution platforms
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture principles and performance for complex UIs
- Strong cloud architecture experience, preferably on Google Cloud Platform
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across engineering, product, and leadership
- Treats AI-assisted engineering as a core part of modern software practice and guiding teams in adopting effective AI-enabled patterns
