Staff Analytics Engineer

Job Summary
Own end-to-end implementations for external data products, including designing scalable pipelines and analytics models using Python, DBT, and SQL. Build and maintain dashboards to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders while collaborating with engineering and product teams to drive the data roadmap. Set technical direction and standards for the analytics engineering team, mentoring engineers and prototyping new products to expand the suite. Act as a subject matter expert for analytics best practices using GitHub-based workflows. This hands-on, player-coach role involves leading team growth while maintaining technical depth. Based in Austin, TX, with hybrid expectations of two days in the office.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar technical role
- Proven expertise DBT, SQL, and GitHub-based development
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and models
- Experience in a customer-facing role, working with technical and business stakeholders
- Must be based in Austin, TX
Desired Qualifications
- Python is a plus
- Experience working with asset managers, business owners, or financial services data sets is a plus
