Job Summary

Analyze operational and administrative processes to recommend improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries for management regarding deadlines, compliance requirements, and performance. Review operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement. Support leadership by managing executive meetings and acting as a primary liaison for communications with upper management and the Office of the NYCT President. Develop and maintain procedures, tracking systems, and performance-monitoring tools while overseeing office logistics including petty cash, equipment, and facility maintenance. Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, or urban studies, or a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college
  • Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
  • One year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee ...
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the areas described in the experience requirements
  • Four years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in the experience requirements
  • Six years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in the experience requirements
  • High school diploma
  • At least one year of experience as described in the minimum requirements
  • Knowledge of NYCT rules, policies, and operational procedures
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, HR Management System
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office suite package, especially MS Excel and MS Access
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be well organized and be able to effectively plan and meet system deadlines
  • Effective organization and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in collaborating with coworkers to provide service
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
