Job Summary
Staff Analog IC Design Engineer in Limerick, Ireland responsible for transistor-level IC design and simulation, collaborating with a global team to meet high voltage/current reliability, high speed, and low-power requirements. Design analog blocks including high-voltage amplifiers, class-AB drivers, comparators, and LDOs; conduct feasibility studies; adapt existing designs for new targets; oversee analog layout, assist with lab evaluation, present findings to engineering teams, and mentor team members. Requires BS or MS in Electronic Engineering with 8+ years in analog/mixed-signal IC design; proficiency in analog/mixed-signal electronics, design tools, and workflows; experience with amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, and switching power supplies; able to drive concepts from concept to production release; travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Electronic Engineering with 8+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design
- strong expertise in analog and mixed-signal electronics, design tools, and workflows
- experience designing circuits such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, and switching power supplies
- demonstrated ability to take ICs from concept through design, layout, evaluation, and production release
