Job Summary
Define and evolve our AI security strategy to protect highly sensitive mental health data across product and corporate environments; lead secure design and threat modeling for AI systems (LLMs, agentic workflows, retrieval pipelines); identify and mitigate risks such as prompt injection, data exfiltration, model abuse, and privilege escalation; build scalable AI security guardrails and tooling for safe experimentation; establish AI governance covering identity, access control, auditability, and observability; lead AI Red Team to proactively identify vulnerabilities; design AI observability pipelines for near real-time detection of anomalous behavior and policy violations; develop and operationalize AI incident response playbooks; partner with product/engineering for responsible AI in a hyper-growth environment; mentor engineers to uphold high security standards.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in software engineering
- 5+ years focused on security
- Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems
- AI red teaming against LLMs, agentic workflows, or RAG systems
- Experience developing or implementing automated LLM vulnerability testing for prompt injection and data exfiltration
- Strong foundation in application security, threat modeling, secure design, and IAM
- Demonstrated ability to build tools and automation with a developer mindset
- Experience influencing senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and cultivating security culture
- Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and git collaboration
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and translate AI risks into pragmatic controls
- Ownership mindset and commitment to advancing AI security
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
