Job Summary
As a Staff AI Engineer, you will design, ship, and operationalize high-impact agent workflows to automate construction plan review processes. Responsibilities include developing production agents for tasks such as permit intake and document QA, using Bedrock AgentCore for secure and scalable hosting, and collaborating with data teams to integrate building code knowledge. Ideal candidates have 7–12 years of experience in backend or ML systems, strong Python/TypeScript skills, and a passion for the intersection of AI and construction compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 7–12+ years shipping high-reliability backend or ML systems (Python/TypeScript)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, and secure integration patterns
- Hands-on experience with RAG, document stores/vector databases
- Ability to design realistic, auditable testbeds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience integrating MCP clients/servers
- Knowledge of Pinecone or early exposure to S3 Vectors
- CrewAI/AutoGen/LlamaIndex experience
- Experience with Apryse or similar PDF tooling
- Experience with geospatial data
- Prior work in AEC/reg-tech
