Job Summary
Prepare and submit monthly contract billing invoices to agencies by the 15th, reconcile statements of activities, and record transactions onto MIP by the 20th. Post collections and daily receipts onto MIP, check bank credits, and maintain remote check deposit platforms while promoting paperless documentation. Generate monthly Stripe transaction reports, collect mail from the reception, and assist in annual financial audits and quarterly program assessments. This Staff Accountant role supports efficient cashflows within the Finance & Accountability Department at San Francisco Community Health Center. The position requires a strong background in not-for-profit fund accounting and experience with Sage Intacct or MIP.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Three to five years in accounting
- fund accounting experience
- Relevant knowledge of the principles and practices of not-for-profit fund accounting
- cost principles
- government audit standards related to contracts and grants
- Experience with the City of San Francisco
- California Department of Public Health
- Homelessness and Homelessness obligations and reporting requirements
