Job Summary
Prepare monthly contract billing invoices by the 15th and reconcile statements of activities with actual invoices. Reconcile transactions onto MIP by the 20th, contact funding agencies within 72 hours of submission, and connect with Revenue and Budget to ensure 100% capture. Post collections and deposits onto MIP daily, check bank credits, and maintain remote check deposit platforms while promoting paperless documentation. Generate monthly Stripe transaction reports, collect mail from the reception, and participate in quarterly program assessments and annual audits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Three to five years in accounting
- fund accounting experience
- Relevant knowledge of the principles and practices of not-for-profit fund accounting
- cost principles
- government audit standards related to contracts and grants
- Experience with the City of San Francisco
- California Department of Public Health
- Homelessness and Homelessness obligations and reporting requirements

- Support and embrace API healing justice philosophy and FAD's day-one ready preparedness bringing integrity in numbers
- Willingness to be cross trained in payments and invoice processing
