Job Summary
Reconcile sales and purchases data from Adage to inventory databases, ensuring accurate yield and pricing information while evaluating short and over weights. Prepare weekly profit/loss estimates, manage month-end journal entries for sales, purchasing, and inventory, and forecast monthly financials. Analyze variances in cost models to explain departmental profit and loss, determine raw material requirements for annual budgets, and resolve discrepancies between general ledger and spreadsheet balances. This individual contributor role requires a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with 1-3 years of experience, preferably in poultry or food manufacturing. Fluency in English and advanced Excel skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field
- 1-3 years relevant Accounting experience

- Applies basis reasoning skills and carries out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to read, understand and interpret data and draw logical conclusions based on the available inputs
- Resolves problems involving variable data and fixed data
- Applies critical thinking skills in standardized situations as well as non-routine problems
- Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs
- occasionally lifts up to 40 lbs
- Frequently walks throughout the facility including over 150,000 square feet
- Frequently walks in a defined work area within the facility
- Frequently stoops and bends to file reports
- Frequently uses visual skills to read numbers and details in small print as well as to read computerized data and payroll records
- Frequently talks and receives auditory information
- Frequently uses fine finger and hand manipulation skills to pick up and move paperwork as well as to operate the computer and adding machine
