Job Summary

The Staff Accountant is responsible for assigned bank reconciliation, payroll entries, and recording of Gift-in-Kind, as well as managing selected Accounts Payable issues, Fixed Asset reconciliation, and monthly Expense reporting. This role requires attendance at bi-weekly payroll meetings, processing payroll entries, ensuring accuracy in Gift-in-Kind reporting, and preparing departmental expense reports. The candidate should possess a Business Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

Required Qualifications

  • Business Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience.
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office tools and MS Excel in particular.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of nonprofit accounting financial management, accounting principles, laws and regulations.
