Staff Accountant

Collaborate with capital project owners to track and review capital expenditures and execute project completion. Prepare account reconciliations, record depreciation entries, and maintain fixed asset tracking in Sage. Execute monthly lease accounting entries and reporting for four entities using LeaseQuery. Assist external auditors by providing documentation and support financial statement footnotes. Prepare sales, property, and use tax returns for multiple states and coordinate income tax requests with CPA firms. Support month-end and year-end close activities, including CIP transfers, accruals, and lease reconciliations. Participate in budgeting and forecasting for fixed asset depreciation. This Staff Accountant role ensures accuracy in general ledger accounts for Toray Advanced Composites, a leading supplier of advanced composite materials for aerospace and industrial markets.
