Job Summary
Manage customer invoicing, receivables, collections, and payment follow-up while reviewing project status before billing and assisting with revenue recognition. Process vendor onboarding, review invoices for accuracy, and coordinate payments in accordance with company terms. Perform general bookkeeping, support monthly financial close, and prepare journal entries and reconciliations within NetSuite and Excel. Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, coordinate move-ins and move-outs, record rental payments, and resolve building maintenance issues. Proactively communicate with management regarding deadlines and ensure time-sensitive tasks are completed in advance. Full-time on-site role in Albuquerque, NM requiring 2–5 years of accounting experience with AR/AP and accrual accounting skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank deposits
- Experience with accrual accounting and financial reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills
- Must be dependable and committed to consistent, punctual in-office attendance
Desired Qualifications
- More experience (preferred)
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Bill.com
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Office
- Prior property management or commercial real estate experience
- Construction, cost basis, or job-cost accounting experience
- Experience supporting multi-entity businesses
- Audit experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently

- Are naturally curious and process-oriented
- Can adapt quickly when priorities or systems change
- Prefer meaningful, hands-on work over highly repetitive routines
