Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll tax and income tax
- Preparation and/or review of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns
- Preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments
- Assume tax preparation responsibility for the more complex returns
- Tax research and preparation of client memorandum
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Lacerte tax software
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Desired Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred-or near completion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to work efficiently and effectively independently
- Able to multi-task and prioritize simultaneous projects
