Job Summary
Staff Accountant for AMSURG focused on ambulatory surgery centers. Responsible for accounting and financial functions including daily accounting, monthly financial reporting, cash management, bank reconciliations, budget analysis, and work-paper presentation. Involves preparation of general ledger entries, cash flow statements, asset management, inventory variances, revenue and expense analysis, and notes for center financial reports. Role is Remote-Centric Hybrid with primary work from home and in-office 2-3 times per month.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Public accounting or industry experience is a plus
- Healthcare experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Willingness to work onsite when requested
