Staff Accountant

Maintain financial procedures and confirm compliance by preparing company reports and statements. Review financial statements for accuracy, verify and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and produce error-free accounting reports. Assist in resolving accounting issues, organize financial records, and prepare documentation for external auditors. Support month-end and year-end close processes, handle 1099 form issuance, manage grant compliance, and make daily deposits while paying bills. Assist the Director of Finance and CFO with additional duties as requested. Work in an office environment with prolonged computer use.
