Job Summary
Prepare journal entries, post account reconciliations, and execute month-end close activities while maintaining general ledger accuracy and supporting financial statement preparation. Analyze variances for production, labor, overhead, and inventory; reconcile bank accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets. Assist with inventory accounting, cycle count reconciliation, manufacturing cost tracking, audits, and compliance reporting. Support accounts payable and receivable processes, annual budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities including executive dashboards and Board of Directors reporting. Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field)
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred, preferably in a manufacturing environment or bookkeeping or internship experience
- Understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or otherwise eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of inventory, standard costing, or manufacturing accounting is a plus
