Job Summary
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, payroll-related entries, and allocations. Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, and general ledger account reconciliations while supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities across T45 Labs and its portfolio companies. Review vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment documentation for accuracy, then assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Maintain schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation, and investigate account discrepancies or unusual transactions to prepare appropriate corrections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Experience with AP/AR, fixed asset, and prepaid/accrual schedules
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines during close
- Clear communicator who can work directly with internal teams and portfolio company stakeholders
- Available to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA
