Job Summary
Staff Accountant role supporting accounting and financial reporting by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close; responsibilities include fixed assets, prepaids, cash reconciliations, accruals, internal and external audits, and adherence to GAAP and company policies. Requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; travel between MCG locations may be needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience participating in full-cycle month-end close
- Experience with fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Satisfactory completion of additional background screening.
