Job Summary
Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining the company’s general ledger and delivering timely, accurate financial statement reporting. Responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements for US entities, coordinating with international subsidiaries to complete and review timely financial statements, supporting monthly, quarterly and annual close and reporting, preparing bank reconciliations, supporting audit activities, leveraging AI/ML finance technology to streamline processes, preparing and filing monthly and quarterly sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Internal Accounting Policy, updating accounting knowledge through professional development, and providing ad hoc reporting and project support. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA a plus), 3 to 5 years of related experience, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), manufacturing experience, strong Excel/Word skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and willingness to travel. The role requires eligibility to work in the US and compliance with ITAR; occasional travel and physical demands are noted. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
- CPA a plus
- 3 to 5 years of related experience in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Experience in ERP implementation (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
- Experience in finance AI/ML technology
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- US citizenship or US Permanent Resident due to ITAR compliance
- Occasional travel, some overnight, as required
