Staff Accountant

Job Summary
Post month-end close tasks, including posting and adjusting journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and reviewing general ledger accounts. Perform weekly accounts payable audits, reconcile credit card receivables, and manage fixed asset ledgers for assigned restaurants. Prepare sales tax filings, conduct cash paid-out audits, and liaise with landlords and field management to ensure timely payments and accurate reporting. Maintain organized records and assist the Controller on special projects. This hybrid role supports the Restaurant Support Center in Orlando, FL, requiring strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred or Associate's and equivalent experience
- Two more years of accounting experience
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and be self-motivated
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of general ledger systems, Microsoft Dynamics a plus
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations preferred
