Job Summary
Conduct Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation. Enter routine journal entries, bank transactions, and AP bills. Perform month-end closing, reconciliation, and bank reconciliation while investigating and adjusting accounting information. Reconcile, correct, and adjust accounting data to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Support department peers as needed. Complete a full application including screening questions and a pre-employment test. Maintain adequate accounting records and controls to mitigate risk and enhance accuracy of reported financial results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact within all levels of the organization
- Ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
- Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, able to prioritize and work independently
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
- Demonstrated ability in an accountant role
- Good business judgment and acumen
- Confident and flexible in their views
- Ability to work with multiple business units to acquire operational knowledge and execute departmental initiatives
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
