Job Summary
Conduct month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications while maintaining general ledger and bank reconciliations. Prepare weekly and monthly reporting requirements, revenue entries, and commission packages. Run ESSBASE daily to track overhead expenses against budgets and forecasts, and oversee suspense account activities. Assist with special projects analysis and support accounts payable. Execute daily and intermittent ESSBASE runs to compare actuals to projections. This role supports Lennar's homebuilding operations, ensuring accurate financial tracking from revenue recognition to backlog profitability reports.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum of two years general accounting experience
Desired Qualifications
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word and Excel
- JD Edwards experience
