Job Summary
Own reconciliations and monthly activity for assigned accounts including prepaids, commissions, and rebate reserves. Prepare recurring journal entries, month-end accruals, and support year-end audit requests with schedules and documentation. Administer distributor rebate programs by reviewing customer deductions and claims for contract compliance. Serve as the key point of contact for intercompany transactions and partner with non-finance stakeholders to determine correct accounting treatment for sales deductions. Compile information for state and local sales tax filings across all cycles while maintaining strong internal controls. This early-career role offers broad business exposure with the Business Unit Controller and partners with finance and sales teams to drive financial strength and strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, accruals, and financial controls
- Comfort working in ERP and financial systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with OneStream and Infor
- Experience with systems such as XA, BaaN, Syteline, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Epicor, SAP, or similar platforms
- Exposure to rebates, sales deductions, intercompany transactions, or sales tax support
- A continuous improvement mindset and interest in making processes more efficient
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work cross-functionally with non-finance partners
- Ideally in a manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environment
