Job Summary
Prepare and post journal entries, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes across multiple operating subsidiaries. Review and reconcile accounts receivable and payable subledgers, support vendor invoice workflows, and prepare intercompany transactions and eliminations for consolidated reporting. Assist with inventory reconciliations, cost of goods sold analysis, and monthly financial statement preparation while ensuring GAAP compliance and supporting external audit requests. Occasional visits to warehouse or packaging facilities may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–4 years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry)
- Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple entities/deadlines simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Primarily office-based; occasional visits to warehouse or packaging facility may be required
