Job Summary
Review contracts for ASC-842 applicability and embedded leases, then drive accounting operations for the Evolent India subsidiary including lease accounting, quarter-end SOX reviews, and 10Q/K footnote disclosures. Prepare monthly reporting packs analyzing budget versus actuals, per-BU costing, and financial data for leadership. Automate reporting and analytics while assisting with ad-hoc accounting matters, accruals, prepaids, asset capitalization, and balance sheet reconciliations for US GAAP. Lead local compliance tasks such as advance tax computation, STPI, GST returns, and statutory assessments. Support global close calendars and ad-hoc requests from the Accounting Manager and Associate Director. Requires Chartered Accountant or CPA with 1-3 years of Big 4 experience; remote work with 50 Mbps internet connection.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant or CPA
- Minimum of 1-3 years of prior experience with the big 4 (preferably in statutory audits) or with the finance team of a reputed organization
- Hands-on with local compliance and regulations
- High-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps
- Ability to set up a wired connection to their home network
